I’ve been a member since early 2013. Tony, Joon, and staff are always helpful, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Crossfit Stumptown is a tough program. The staff is helping me achieve physical goals that I didn’t think were possible. The other members are good people. While there is a competitive edge, everyone encourages each other to do their best, regardless of age differences.
I’ve belonged to several other health clubs in my life. Crossfit Stumptown is totally different. I would go to my previous gyms, workout out for up to 2 hours at a time. Treadmill, weights, and back to the treadmill. I felt I was keeping in shape. In reality, I never saw much in physical gains. Since I’ve joined Crossfit Stumptown, I have trimmed about 2 to 3 inches off my waist. I’ve gone from X-Large shirts to Large. All of this while becoming stronger, faster and more confident. These workouts are only 1 hour. I have much more to improve, but this program is by far the best investment I’ve made in myself. I wish this was available when I was in my 20s.
